We will provide you with an estimate of our charges and disbursements before we undertake any work from you and unless any unforeseen circumstances arise, the estimated costs will be the actual costs paid by you.
If the matter does not proceed to a completion through no fault of your own, then we will not charge for our services for any works carried out for you, and we will only charge you for disbursements that we have paid on your behalf, i.e. searches, identity checks etc.
Our fees are very competitive for the quality of service provided due to our low overheads.

Freehold Purchase – From £550 + VAT & Disbursements
Leasehold Sale – From £900 + VAT & Disbursements
Leasehold Purchase – From £950 + VAT & Disbursements
We will ask you to confirm that you are happy with our estimate, before we begin working on the transaction on your behalf.
We will deal with the Estate Agents and Mortgage Companies on your behalf throughout the transaction, and will keep all parties informed of progress.
Your file will be reviewed regularly and you will be updated by your preferred method, whether it be, by telephone, e-mail or letter.

Homden Property Lawyers was incorporated in January 2009, at the height of the recession. After being made redundant from the Law firm that she was working for at that time, Lorraine Homden started the practice on her own, and by 2010 was very happy to be employing other people to assist with the workload. Homden Property Lawyers is a small family run business and is operated from Lorraine’s home where offices have been built to accommodate staff and clients. As a result of working from home we are able to offer an out of hour service to clients, on the telephone, emails and seeing clients to suit their needs after working hours when required. We have grown from strength to strength and are now happy to say that we employ 8 Staff and are very keen to also employ Trainees to give them the opportunity of progressing with a career in the Law. We are very proud of what we have achieved at Homden Property Lawyers and now have a considerable client base, most of which have come from client recommendations. We also work for local Mortgage Brokers and Agents, and pride ourselves on the service and commitment that we provide to our clients and Agents, Brokers and other Solicitors.
